Nokia N78 Mic mouthpiece microphone Failure solution
Heres the solution that may possibly help fix and repair a microphone failure on Nokia N78 cell phone handset. In Nokia N78 the microphone line track is connected over the keypad flex cable wire connection. If something went wrong and the microphone failed to have an audio signal output during transmission, The problem may possibly lies on a faulty mouthpiece microphone, a damaged flex cable and a faulty microphone signal line paths. This solution below shows the microphones line tracks that needs to be trace after ensuring that the microphone is okay and the flex cable is also okay.

The microphones positive terminal line tracks is connected on pin 22 of the keypad pin connector, while the negative terminal is on the PCB grounds. There is also a bypass capacitor connected to it, if the capacitor is oxidated or shorted due to a wet damaged this also result to microphone failure problem.

Nokia X6 Digital Mic mouthpiece microphone problem Solution
Heres the solution that might possibly help solve Nokia X6 mouthpiece microphone failure, a problem that no audio sounds can be heard from the other receiving device during a call is created.
The red lines indicated in the solution above is the microphones supply voltage if this voltage is cut or not present the mic will not tend to work. There are also resistors that where the digital audio signal is flow across to this components that has a resistance value of 100ohms each, check and replace it first before attempting to replace the Digital Microphone Module.

Nokia 5220 microphone mic mouthpiece not working solution
If ever tried to repair a damaged Nokia 5220 mic failure, this solution can be used as a quick guide to which and what components needs to be check or replace.
The solution below shows the microphone circuits including its voltage supply and audio data signal line paths from the Power and Audio IC through to the Digital microphone module.
Before trying to remove and replace the DIGI MIC module check and trace its corresponding line paths and connected components such as the Resistors, there are three resistors connected being connected in the circuit which has the resistance value of 100 ohms each.
You may also check the voltage supply line paths, if the voltage is not present the microphone will not work.
If already tied installing a new replacement microphone and ensuring that the connection tracks were okay and also the three resistors were bot fine but the problem still exists, there is the possibility that the problem lies on the audio IC. Reworking it might possibly solve and fix the Nokia 5220 microphone problem.
