Critters
This is a page showing off some of the interesting bugs, birds, snakes, spiders, and other creepy crawlies we have come across during our adventures. Hope you enjoy, I will always be adding to it:) FYI, these creatures are in no particular order, nor do I have time to find the names or species with 3 small children, so feel free to help me label them. Pura Vida!
Definitely a wood-pecker, very loud pecking.

This toucan was roaring outside our house in Atenas every morning.
What a lovely pair of hawks, commonly seen close-up in the mountains of Costa Rica.
This tiny ant is carrying this dead moth up the wall. Muy Fuerte!

These parrots were at Las Ruins of Ujarras, one of our favorite spots in Costa Rica!
And we could never forget the creepiest crawler of them all...the Costa Rican crocodile!
